Note Regarding Training Sessions:
At Les Bleus FC, the safety and well-being of our players are our top priorities. While we aim to maintain a consistent training schedule, there may be circumstances beyond our control that necessitate the postponement or cancellation of training sessions. These circumstances could include inclement weather, facility availability, or unforeseen events. We assure you that any decision to postpone or cancel training sessions will be made with careful consideration for the safety of our players and the quality of the training environment. In such cases, communication will be promptly provided on our HEJA team app, so please ensure that you stay updated through this channel.
c) Private Coaching: In addition to regular training sessions, Coach Gabe provides private, 1v1 lessons for players desiring to improve their individual skills. c) Consequences for violating the code of conduct:
Maintaining a positive and respectful environment is fundamental to our mission. In the event that a player or parent violates our established code of conduct, our coaching staff reserves the right to take necessary disciplinary actions, including the possibility of removing the player from the Academy. We believe that upholding the values outlined in our codes is essential for the overall well-being of our community and the development of our players. Our commitment is to foster an atmosphere where everyone feels safe, respected, and able to fully enjoy the soccer experience. Decisions regarding the removal of a player will be made after careful consideration, and we encourage open communication to address and rectify any concerns before such measures are taken.
V. Competitive Opportunities:
Although LBFC is a Training Academy, we believe that offering competitive opportunities is an important aspect of every player’s development. Scrimmages will be included during training sessions on a regular basis, but we also want to provide opportunities to participate in local leagues & tournaments for players interested in doing so. Whether players want to compete in a rec league or a more competitive club team, they are free to continue training with the Academy while competing in the league of their choice. Our goal is to help players grow and develop so they can make an impact wherever they decide to play.
If a player desires to compete with LBFC, we typically join one of the local rec leagues as well as other local tournaments at an extra cost, LBFC staff will offer players the opportunity to join on a selection basis.
VI. Uniforms and Gear:
a) Recommended Soccer Gear: Please ensure your child is well-equipped with the necessary soccer gear, including cleats, shin guards, and a well-pumped soccer ball (Juniors train with size 4 balls, Seniors use size 5). We are happy to provide recommendations for quality gear and where to purchase it.
b) Uniforms: Team uniforms are not required for our Training Academy until we register a team at a local invitational tournament. During training, players can wear any modest sports clothing that is appropriate for the sport of soccer.
