What is the difference between LBFC and other soccer clubs?

Great question! Most soccer clubs require parents/players to commit for an entire season, which can range between $500-$2,000 (+ uniforms)! We believe soccer in the U.S. should be as affordable as "Football" in the rest of the world. We cut out the extra costs by focusing on providing quality training first, and extra opportunities for players interested in more competitive options.

How much is a monthly membership?

Memberships are $85/month for the Academy, or $55/month for the Pre-Academy, and can be paused/renewed before the 1st of every month, no commitment needed. As parents, we understand no two months are the same, and other expenses may take priority... you can decide when to join, and when to take a break!

When & where do you typically train?

Training sessions take place twice/week, typically on Tuesday evening & Saturday morning, at Frank Brown Sports Complex or another nearby field (times & places may vary).

Are there any hidden fees or additional costs I should know about?

Nope! The membership is as simple as it sounds. Competitive opportunities are offered to players who have the level to represent LBFC in local tournaments, in which case parents have the choice to register at an extra cost, but that is completely up to parents/players to participate. It doesn't feel right to charge all players extra when only some have the desire/level to play competitively

What happens once I sign up?

You become a part of the LBFC family! You will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need, including a code to join our Team app. From there you will be able to join our training sessions and communicate with our coaches and other parents directly through the app.

What is the difference between the Academy & the Pre-Academy?

Our Academy welcomes players ages 9-13, while our Pre-Academy is for ages 6-8. Young players should learn alongside others in the same age group to keep things fun and engaging, our Pre-Academy was created to allow younger players to learn the fundamentals of Football before moving on to the Academy.
